New minimum wage rates applicable to the Electronics, Communications, Radio, TV Manufacturing and Allied Industry have been gazetted and came into effect on 1 July 2024.
The new rates represent a significant increase across all job grades and are intended to address cost of living adjustments in Zimbabwe.
All registered employers are required to comply with these new minimum wage rates immediately. Failure to comply constitutes a breach of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Labour Act.
